Executive Leadership
Sloan Bentley

She is passionate about bringing new products and systems to Lutheran Life to ensure the perpetuity of the Mission. Sloan has personally developed a new program that is being launched in 2022; an enterprise-wide culture program named Grace in Action [GIA]. GIA is modeled after a hospitality structure customized for Lutheran Life Communities, founded on Grace-Filled Living, a component of its Mission. On weekends, Sloan enjoys time on the golf course with husband Dan. Fitness and well-being are important to Sloan, evidenced by the many Zoom calls and meetings conducted from the treadmill desk in her office or during walks with her dogs, Chicagoland weather permitting!
Dan Noonan
Chief Financial Officer
Dan Noonan joined Lutheran Life in March 2023 as Chief Financial Officer.
Dan brings 30-plus years of progressive, financial leadership to Lutheran Life. He has six years of Chief Financial Officer experience in the Senior Living space.
Prior to joining Lutheran Life, Dan spent five years with an eight community Senior Living organization based in the Chicago area. In this capacity, Noonan successfully guided the organization through the pandemic, raising over $30 million in CARES Act funds which helped offset the impact of the pandemic on operations. Dan led the restructuring of the organization’s capital stack through a series of refinancings and unproductive asset sales which reduced debt service by $4 million or 35% annually. As a result of these actions, the organization received a debt rating upgrade – one of the few upgrades that Fitch awarded during the pandemic.
Dan also has financial leadership experience in the Technology and Retail industries. During his time with Forsythe Technologies as Sr. Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer, Noonan was part of the deal team that successfully sold the firm for $350 million, realizing a 194% return for its employee owners.
Dan began his career with the public accounting firm of KPMG as a certified public accountant and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
