Our Leadership
Meet our team of caring, seasoned professionals—working every day to make Lutheran Life Communities the very best in senior living!
Executive Leadership

Sloan Bentley
President & CEO
Sloan brings over 35 years of senior living housing and care experience to Lutheran Life Communities. She is passionate about bringing new products and systems to Lutheran Life to ensure the perpetuity of the Mission. Sloan has personally developed a new program that is being launched in 2022; an enterprise-wide culture program named Grace in Action [GIA]. GIA is modeled after a hospitality structure customized for Lutheran Life Communities, founded on Grace-Filled Living, a component of its Mission. On weekends, Sloan enjoys time on the golf course with husband Dan. Fitness and well-being are important to Sloan, evidenced by the many Zoom calls and meetings conducted from the treadmill desk in her office or during walks with her dogs, Chicagoland weather permitting!

Dan Noonan
Chief Financial Officer

Abdul Shakoor
General Counsel
Abdul Shakoor joined Lutheran Life Communities in June 2021 after most recently serving as deputy general counsel for a top 10 nonprofit senior housing provider. In that capacity, Abdul was responsible for transactional matters, compliance, board and governance, litigation and supporting strategic growth opportunities. He is passionate about Lutheran Life’s core values and believes in delivering excellent quality and compassionate care to our residents. During his time away from Lutheran Life, Abdul enjoys traveling to new destinations with his family, learning about local customs and cultures.

Paul Rauseo
VP Human Resources, People
Paul joined Lutheran Life Communities with over 20 years of executive leadership, supporting the human side of business. He is passionate about development of culture and mindset to support and engage team members, while reinforcing organizational transformation. His favorite quote comes from Bill Taylor, “Understand that in an era of hyper-competition and non-stop disruption, the only way to stand out from the crowd is to stand for something special.” In his off time, Paul enjoys traveling to Avellino, Italy, a region known for its fragrant gardens, wines and the roots of his family. If you’re lucky, you may have the opportunity to hear Paul tickling the ivories.

Joe Anderson
VP, Business Development
Joe brings many years of experience in senior housing, and recently served as Vice President for Caspar.AI. Joe’s career also includes serving as CEO of SQLC, President of Seniority, Inc., President of the ABHOW Foundation and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ABHOW.
